Ground Shipments
All standard ground shipments are handled through Postal or UPS services. Our dedication to prompt delivery and the use of dependable carriers ensure that many of our products reach customers six days a week.
Standard Freight
Most freight items are shipped on standard pallets for various reasons. Typically, products are either too heavy or oversized for ground shipping, while some lighter items may be fragile and need careful handling. After you place your order, the shipping company will reach out to arrange a delivery time. Therefore, it is crucial to provide your primary contact number during checkout. We offer complimentary liftgate service for many standard pallet items. This feature, located at the back of the truck, facilitates the unloading of your package. The driver will assist in removing the delivery from the truck, but you are responsible for moving it onto your property. Please take a moment to inspect the package for any visible damage. If you notice any issues, be sure to document them on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip provided by the driver.
Oversized/Overweight Item
When ordering an oversized or heavy freight item that surpasses liftgate capacity, a nominal shipping fee will apply depending on the time zones, and you may need to arrange for a forklift rental through an external service provider. Should you have any inquiries about your product's delivery, our team members are available to assist you throughout the process.
Return/Refund Policy
Shipping costs along with processing fees are non-refundable. If you need to return an item, you must do so within 7 days of delivery. Refunds for returns will be issued as in-store credit only, excluding the original shipping and processing fees. To initiate a return, please contact us at info@travertineandmore.com. A Return Authorization (RA) number is required for any returns, and customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. Products must be returned in their original packaging with adequate protective materials and clearly labeled with the RA number. Items that are damaged due to inadequate packaging during return shipping will not be eligible for replacement or refund. Custom orders, including any bowl larger than 30 inches, are non-returnable. Additionally, any items not manufactured by Travertine and More, Inc. are warranted solely by their respective manufacturers, and any replacements or refunds are at the discretion of those manufacturers.
Delivery Inspection
Inspect your delivery for any apparent damage. If the product is damaged to the extent that it is unusable, do not sign for or accept the package. Instead, refuse the delivery and reach out to our customer service at info@travertineandmore.com.
Travertine and More, Inc. guarantees that concrete bowls and tables will remain free from cracking due to fire usage for one year from the date of payment, provided they are installed correctly. It is important to note that spiderweb cracks may occur in concrete bowls as a result of temperature fluctuations, but these do not qualify for warranty replacement.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only while the unit remains at the site of the original installation and only if the unit is installed inside the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. The warranty applies only if the unit is installed and operated in accordance with the printed instructions and in compliance with applicable installation and building codes and good trade practices.
Basic One Year Warranty
During the first year after installation, the manufacturer will provide a replacement for any component part of your unit found to be defective in materials or workmanship. Repair work requires prior approval by manufacturer, labor costs are based on a predetermined rate schedule and any repair work must be done through an authorized manufacturer dealer.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
The heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner of every product excluding the Outdoor Firepit are warranted against materials or workmanship during the period the product is owned by the original owner. The part to be replaced must be returned to the manufacturer's distributor in exchange for the replacement part. Any labor, material, freight and/or handling charges associated with any repair or replacement pursuant to this Limited Lifetime Warranty will not be covered by this warranty.
General Terms
In lieu of providing a replacement part, the manufacturer may, at their option, provide the distributor's component purchase price from the manufacturer or a credit equal to the distributors component purchase price from the manufacturer toward the purchase of any new unit which we distribute. If a credit is given in lieu of a replacement part, the rating plate from the unit being replaced must be submitted on a warranty claim, and the unit being replaced must be made available to our distributor for disposition. In establishing the date of installation for any purpose, including determination of the starting date for the term of this Limited Lifetime Warranty, reasonable proof of the original installation date must be presented*, otherwise the effective date will be based upon the date of manufacture plus thirty (30) days. The manufacturer will not be responsible for and you, the user, will pay for: (a) damages caused by accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, riot, fire, flood, or Acts of God (b) damages caused by operating the unit where there is a corrosive atmosphere containing chlorine, fluorine, or any other damaging chemicals (other than in a normal residential environment) (c) damages caused by any unauthorized alteration or repair of the unit affecting its stability or performance (d) damages caused by improper matching or application of the unit or the unit's components (e) damages caused by failing to provide proper maintenance and service to the unit (f) any expenses incurred for erecting, disconnecting or dismantling the unit (g) parts or supplies used in connection with service or maintenance (h) damage repairs, in operation or inefficiency resulting from faulty installation or application (i) electricity or fuel costs or any increase in electricity or fuel cost whatsoever including additional or unusual use of supplemental electric heat. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages or expenses in connection with any use or failure of this unit. We have not made and do not make any representation or warranty of fitness for a particular use or purpose, and there is no implied condition of fitness for a particular use or purpose. We make no express warranties except as stated in this Limited Lifetime Warranty. No one is authorized to change this Limited Lifetime Warranty or to create for us any other obligation or liability in connections with this unit. Any implied warranties shall last for one year after the original installation. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty or condition lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. The provisions of this limited warranty are in additions to and not a modification of or subtraction from any statutory warranties and other rights and remedies provided by law.
All GFRC and Natural Stone Earth Bowls products are made by hand and will not be 100% exact, minor defects, shape, air pockets, and color are to be expected and are not a warranty item.
1 YEAR WARRANTY is for products to be of merchantable quality and sellable condition and use if installed in accordance per our instructions and for its's intended use ONLY and no modifications, changes, or other products have been used.
NO WARRANTY is given or implied for installation and/or shipping damage.
SHIPPING DAMAGE: Products shipped by outside companies are responsible for any and all damage, lost items, & delivery time occurred while products are in their possession; products MUST be inspected at time of delivery and reported to seller within 24 hours of delivery. Major (non-repairable) damage that has occurred REFUSE THE ORDER, Take Pictures, and have Driver mark the paperwork. We will initiate a damage claim and time frame for credit and/or replacement is when the shipping company has finished and made their decision.
RETURNS: All returns must be preapproved and have a RA (return authorization) number, return shipping is the responsibility of buyer, once all products are received, we will determine if product(s) will be repaired, new product(s) will be issued, and/or a credit issued. If, at our option, product(s) in whole or part are replaced seller will pay for shipping to same location as original order. Returns, decided by seller, that will not be replaced a store credit will be issued for the original order amount minus any banking and/or other fees that seller may have occurred.
NON-WARRANTY ITEMS: Scratched, chipped paint, minor defects, chipped edges, color match, air pockets, damage caused by installation, shipping, and/or acts of God. Touch-up paint and/or repair kits will be sent out by seller at no cost to buyer.
